WHERE FROM      Johnson’s Car Park, corner of Fletcher Gate and Thorn Road, HU12 8HP

  LENGTH               The walk is around 2 miles long and will take roughly 2 hours to complete.

TERRAIN                The majority of this walk takes place on paths that can be muddy after rain. Please wear suitable clothing and foot wear. The paths are flat with no stiles, however it will be difficult for pushchairs or buggies to negotiate the route.

COST                         The cost is £4 per person, children £2.

This walk takes in the southern section of the town that is off the beaten track. You will hear about the source of Hedon’s wealth, some it old churches, of world renowned residents, world firsts, of accidents and heros and see evidence of past glories.

Some of the paths we take can get very muddy in poor weather. Alternative routes can be taken to avoid the worst areas. The walk may take in short stretches of road with no footpath and cross several roads so great care should be taken.
